Benefits of msconfig in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

Msconfig in the Windows 7 Operating System helps you to disable some of the avoidable programs that automatically load on startup. Disabling these applications would help your PC boot faster and crash less. The main benefit of using msconfig is to edit these files that provide a simplified GUI to control sections of those files and the Windows registry tree pertaining to the Windows boot sequence. By using msconfig, Windows 7 can also be configured to perform a diagnostic startup by loading a minimum number of drivers, programs, and services.
